Morocco is celebrating Francophone culture throughout March with a series of events in major cities.
From March 25-27, Marrakech, Casablanca, and Rabat will host “La Nuit de l’humour francophone,” a festival dedicated to French-language humor, according to reports.
The events are part of a larger celebration of the Francophonie, the community of French-speaking nations, organized by the GADF-Morocco. The organization is using the month to highlight the importance of the French language and culture within the country.
Diplomats and artists are participating in the month-long series of events, which underscores Morocco’s commitment to Francophone values. The celebrations aim to showcase the vibrancy of French language and culture within Morocco and strengthen ties with other Francophone nations.
The events come as Morocco continues to play an active role in the international Francophonie community.
