Former soccer star Ronald de Boer and his daughters, Maxime and Demi, are set to compete in the recent SBS6 adventure-reality program, Survive Your Family. The show, which premieres on April 16, 2026, will pit families against each other in the Colombian wilderness, testing their bonds and survival skills.

The premise of Survive Your Family involves splitting each of four families in half. One half will be dropped into the jungle with minimal supplies, even as the other half remains in a base camp. Those in the jungle will rely on their family members in the base camp to complete challenges and provide resources. The first family to reunite in the base camp after eight grueling stages will be declared the winner.

De Boer will be joined by his daughters and nephew, Bowey, as they face off against other prominent families, including Frank Masmeijer and his daughters Charlotte and Michelle, along with his son-in-law Stijn. The hip-hop group Broederliefde – consisting of Emms, Jerr, Sjaf, and Edson – will likewise compete, as will the Van Dorsten family, represented by Edino, Glory, Shin, and Triuna, who are known from the documentary Children of Ruinerwold.

The show is hosted by Art Rooijakkers. According to TVgids.nl, the families will be tested in a completely different environment than they are used to, leading to new insights and challenges to their family dynamics.

Survive Your Family will air weekly on SBS6 every Thursday at 8:30 PM, starting April 16, 2026. The announcement of this reality show adds to the growing trend of adventure-based competition series on Dutch television.
