Bratislava – MMA fighter Gábor Boráros is navigating an incredibly difficult time following the tragic death of his former partner, Monika Jákliová, at age 31. The pair’s young daughter, Zora, is now facing the immense challenge of coping with the loss of her mother, compounded by hateful messages directed at her from strangers.
Jákliová, a fitness influencer, died in a car accident, leaving Zora to adjust to a recent life with her father. The transition has been particularly painful for the young girl, who is now grappling with a loss that would be devastating for anyone.
The grief and pain have been exacerbated by a wave of online harassment targeting Zora. Disturbing messages have surfaced on social media, including one particularly cruel message Boráros publicly shared: “Aby skapala dcéra, tá ku*va sku*vená,” – roughly translated as “I hope his daughter dies, that bitch.” The message understandably left Boráros reeling.
Boráros responded with a powerful and emotional statement, expressing his outrage and unwavering commitment to protecting his daughter. “Vie mi niekto vysvetliť, prečo existujú takíto ľudia? Načo žijú? Ani neviem ako to povedať po slovensky a vlastne ani po maďarsky, že takíto potkani existujú na tomto svete,” he wrote, adding, “Ani sa nečudujem, že tento chlap nemá rodinu a dúfam, že ju ani nebude mať, lebo si ju nezaslúži.”
The Boráros family is currently mourning and navigating this incredibly difficult period. Boráros is prioritizing his daughter’s well-being and shielding her from the negativity and cruelty of the online world. The situation highlights the devastating impact of online hate and the importance of protecting vulnerable individuals from such attacks.
