Google’s Gemini Advances with New Music Creation and Performance Boosts

Google is expanding the capabilities of its Gemini artificial intelligence model with new features including music generation and a significant performance upgrade with the release of Gemini 3.1 Pro. The advancements signal growing competition in the AI sector as companies race to deliver more sophisticated and versatile AI tools.

The company announced that Gemini 2.0 Flash, an experimental model, is now available to all Gemini users. A new feature called “Deep Research” has been launched within Gemini Advanced. This tool leverages advanced reasoning and long-context capabilities to act as a research assistant, exploring complex topics and generating reports.

Gemini’s creative scope now extends to music, with the AI able to compose original pieces. The system can also verify whether a given track was created by AI, addressing growing concerns about the authenticity of digital content. This new functionality was first reported by Google on its official blog.

Beyond creative applications, Gemini 3.1 Pro has demonstrated performance gains, reportedly surpassing competitors and even identifying weaknesses in other AI models. The release builds on previous iterations of the Gemini model, showcasing Google’s continued investment in AI development.

Gemini, categorized as an Air sign and symbolized by twins, is known for its two-sided nature, talkativeness, and playfulness. People born between May 21st and June 20th are considered Geminis and are often drawn to travel and conversation, according to Astrology Answers.
