Jakarta – Gewa Atlana Syamayim Latuihamallo, the daughter of the late Glenn Fredly and Mutia Ayu, is embracing the spirit of Ramadan this year. The six-year-vintage is enthusiastically participating in fasting and has been surprisingly drama-free when it comes to waking up for *sahur*, the pre-dawn meal.
Mutia Ayu shared moments of waking Gewa for *sahur* on her TikTok account. “Today marks the several days Gewa has been fasting, and she’s only broken her fast two days during Ramadan,” Ayu said on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Even while still sleepy, Gewa readily agreed to fast for the day. When asked who she wanted to dedicate the rewards of her fast to, Gewa sweetly responded, “Ayah and Mage,” referring to her father and Mutia Ayu.
Ayu noted that Gewa prefers to be woken up for *sahur* before 3:30 AM, or even at 3:00 AM, because she enjoys having plenty of time to eat, drink, and snack. The singer expressed her delight that her daughter isn’t making a fuss about the early wake-up call.
This news comes as Gewa continues to follow in her parents’ footsteps, showcasing a talent for music and performance. The young star is quickly becoming a beloved figure in Indonesian entertainment.
