TVXQ and Tamio Okuda Join ‘Gobu Gobu Festival 2026’ as Final Lineup Revealed
The anticipation for one of Osaka’s most eclectic musical gatherings has reached a fever pitch. The full artist roster for Gobu Gobu Festival 2026 has officially been finalized with the addition of global icons TVXQ and rock legend Tamio Okuda, rounding out a high-energy lineup curated by comedy powerhouse Masatoshi Hamada.
Organized by Hamada—who serves as the event’s Chief Event Organizer (CEO), MC, and headliner—the festival is set to take place on June 6 and 7, 2026, at the Expo Memorial Park East Plaza in Osaka. The event promises a massive celebration of music across two days at one of the region’s largest outdoor venues.
The festival kicks off on Saturday, June 6, with a powerhouse performance from TVXQ. The duo continues to cement their legacy as a global force in music; having performed at domes 92 times—the most for any overseas artist—and recently completing their third Nissan Stadium show. Their appearance at Gobu Gobu Festival 2026 marks their second time gracing the event’s stage, highlighting their enduring influence and charisma.
Joining TVXQ on Day 1 are Aina The Complete, Atarashii Gakko!, Shonan no Kaze, SOPHIA, and Momoiro Clover Z, all performing alongside the festival’s host, Masatoshi Hamada.
The energy continues into Sunday, June 7, with the addition of Tamio Okuda. A staple of the Japanese music scene since his 1987 debut with Unicorn, Okuda is well-known for hits like “Effortless Jewel Rider” and “Sasurai.” His participation is particularly special given his close friendship with Hamada; during the festival’s inaugural year, Okuda famously took the stage as Hamada’s “partner.”
The Day 2 lineup also features INI, Masahiko Kondo, Sambomaster, DISH//, and NEWS, with Masatoshi Hamada returning to lead the festivities.
