Details of Gran Hermano “Generación Dorada” Contract Leak

Telefe announced the return of Gran Hermano Generación Dorada on February 23, with Santiago del Moro returning as host. The show’s return is a significant event in Argentinian television, and reality TV fans are eagerly anticipating the new season.

Just hours before the show’s debut, details of the contracts signed by the new participants began to surface. According to reports, the agreements include stipulations regarding filming, image rights, and confidentiality.

Alejandro Castelo, on the streaming program Ya fue todo (Jotax), which airs Monday through Friday at 11:00 AM on YouTube, read aloud some of the more controversial points of the agreement between the production company and the new participants.

“I grant my express consent to be filmed, recorded, or photographed so that the resulting films, recordings, and images may be exhibited, reproduced, or published by Kuarzo and the channel that broadcasts it,” Castelo read on air.

He further noted, “I acknowledge and accept that Kuarzo and the channel will be… – here is the most specific part – the exclusive owners of the results and profits of the materials with the right to register intellectual property for the use and granting of permits for others to use them for any purpose.”

“Without time limit and this authorization not being limited to the Argentine Republic without Kuarzo and the channel being obliged to craft any additional payment,” he continued, outlining the broad scope of image usage rights.

Castelo emphasized that failure to comply with any of the established points could have consequences for the participants, who would be required to compensate the company.

“What is said above is that you, the participant, must maintain strict confidentiality about all information. There is compensation that you must make to the program if you break it,” the commentator concluded regarding the upcoming season of the popular show, which celebrates the format’s 25th anniversary in Argentina.
