Latvian hip-hop fans are in for a treat: Two of the genre’s biggest stars, Gustavo and ansis, will share the stage at the Zemgales Olimpiskais centrs in Jelgava on March 21, 2026, each with their own unique concert program.
Organizers say the concert will be a rare opportunity to experience the distinct yet equally powerful styles of two leading Latvian hip-hop artists in one evening. Each artist will present a specially prepared reveal for the audience.
ansis is currently one of Latvia’s brightest rappers, gaining widespread recognition with the album “Balzams” and elevating Latvian hip-hop to a new level with “Lielu mākslu.” His clever wordplay, socially conscious lyrics and energetic stage presence make every performance an event.
Gustavo is a foundational figure in the Latvian hip-hop scene, a producer and musician who has created countless songs that have grow classics of the genre. His concert program will feature both his most well-known hits and newer material. Gustavo’s concerts are known for their powerful and nuanced sound, always giving the songs a fresh stage energy, complemented by thoughtful visuals that enhance the mood of the music and create a professional, immersive experience.

On Saturday, March 21, a bus will depart from Jelgava to Riga, providing convenient transportation for concertgoers from the “GUSTAVO | ansis | LIELKONCERTS” at the Zemgales Olimpiskais centrs.
