EDM Legend Hardwell and Duo Sigma to Headline Summer Sound 2026
The Baltic region’s largest music festival, Summer Sound 2026, is set to electrify Liepāja Beach from July 31 to August 1 with the addition of two major acts: Dutch electronic dance music star Hardwell and British drum and bass duo Sigma. The announcement expands an already impressive lineup for the festival, promising a diverse range of musical experiences.
Hardwell, twice named the world’s best DJ, will be making his first appearance in Latvia. Known for hits like “Apollo,” “Call Me A Spaceman,” and “Young Again,” the influential EDM artist has dominated major festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra for over a decade. His performance is expected to deliver a world-class electronic music experience to festival-goers.
“Summer Sound” attendees can also anticipate a high-energy set from Sigma, one of the world’s leading drum and bass duos. The British act skillfully blends the energy of club music with melodic pop sounds, and their popular tracks include “Nobody To Love,” “Changing,” and “Uncover Me,” often featuring vocals from artists like Rita Ora and Paloma Faith.
The festival will feature a mix of Latvian and international artists, solidifying its position as a key event on the European summer music calendar. This year’s additions are expected to draw large crowds to Liepāja Beach.
