Harry Jowsey revealed a surprising cosmetic procedure during an appearance on Lisa Vanderpump’s “Boyfriend Material” podcast: Botox injections in his penis.
The reality star explained on the podcast that a friend inspired him to try the treatment.
“One of my friends did it. He got stem cells and Botox and calcium,” Jowsey said.
The Australian television personality also shared his reasoning behind the decision. He explained that the Botox “relaxes the muscle,” resulting in a smoother appearance.
“They said it, like, relaxes the muscle. It’s very smooth now, which is good,” he added. Jowsey also mentioned the possibility of using Botox on his testicles. “You can do it in your balls,” he said. “It smooths out the wrinkles, but because it relaxes the muscle and you’re getting stem cells injected into it and calcium.” He clarified, however, that he has only received the injections in his penis.
Urologist and pelvic surgeon Rena Malik explained on YouTube that the injections function similarly to facial Botox, causing the muscles in the penis to relax. This can make the penis appear larger when flaccid, though it doesn’t affect overall size.
“Botox basically tells your overactive sympathetic nervous system to calm down, which allows the blood vessels and smooth muscles to relax. This improves blood flow where it’s needed. You can also think of it as a paralyzing agent, like when we use it for facial wrinkles. It basically paralyzes those muscles, so when you set it in the smooth muscles of the penis, it paralyzes those muscles to some extent, allowing blood to flow more easily,” she said.
