Actor Hisham Majid revealed the official poster for his upcoming film, “Barshamah,” ahead of its release during the Eid al-Fitr 2026 film season.
Majid shared the poster on his Instagram page, featuring several of the film’s stars including Hisham Majid, Mostafa Gharib, Basem Samra, Hatem Salah, and Reham Abdel Ghafour. He wrote, “The official poster for the film Barshamah, starring Hisham Majid, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Basem Samra, Mostafa Gharib, Hatem Salah, written by Ahmed Zaghab, Sherine Diab, Khaled Diab, and directed by Khaled Diab. See you on the first day of Eid al-Fitr 2026 in all cinemas.”
Behind the Scenes of “Barshamah”
The film centers around a young man who devises a latest method of cheating to survive the pressures of high school, leading him into a playful “cat and mouse” game. The cast also includes Fadwa Abed, Kamal Abu Raya, Arfa Abdel Rasoul, Waleed Fawaz, and Faten Saeed. The screenplay is by Ahmed Zaghab and Khaled Diab, with contributions from Sherine Diab, and it is directed by Khaled Diab.
Hisham Majid Awaits Season Five of “The Game”
Hisham Majid is also anticipating the premiere of the fifth season of his series, “The Game.” He recently unveiled the official trailer for the show, which is slated to air on “MBC Egypt” and “MBC Shahid” in the coming weeks.
The series stars Shiko, Mirna Gamal, Mai Kasab, Mohamed Tharwat, and Ahmed Fathy. It is written by Ahmed Saad El-Waly and directed by Moataz El-Touni. The new season will continue the rivalry between Waseem and Mazoo, who find themselves in a series of comedic competitions.
