Hithium ESS Cabinet Field Tested

The 261 kWh Hithium ESS Cabinet storage system successfully completed field testing in Styria, Austria. (© Energy3000 solar) Energy3000 has successfully completed testing of a 261 kWh Hithium ESS Cabinet in Austria, following earlier validation in Hungary. The system underwent real-world evaluation in Styria, confirming its performance and reliability.

Key specifications of the Hithium ESS Cabinet include:

  • 261 kWh all-in-one system
  • 25 kW AC power output
  • Full charge and discharge in just 2 hours

According to experts at Energy3000, all components passed extensive performance and safety tests “with flying colors,” meeting the company’s high internal quality standards and paving the way for wider deployment in energy storage projects.

Successful Pilot Project in Hungary

Prior to the Styria trial, two powerful Hithium ESS Cabinet systems were tested at the facilities of Áramút Bau 90 Kft in Hungary. These systems, each comprised of five 261 kWh battery units, a combiner box for secure and efficient module connection, and a stationary controller for system management and monitoring, were also evaluated under realistic conditions.

The resulting total storage capacity of over 1.3 MWh per system is now being utilized by the owners for reliable and efficient power supply – including self-generated PV power, peak load coverage, and grid stabilization.

The Styria deployment (right) followed a successful trial of a Hithium storage system with 2x 1.3 MWh capacity in Hungary.
