Honor has officially announced the Magic V6 foldable phone, following a series of leaks and a preview at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this month.
The new Honor foldable, now available for pre-order in China, features a 7.95-inch internal display and a 6.52-inch external screen. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 processor and comes with between 12GB and 16GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The device boasts a 7,150mAh battery with 80W wired speedy charging and 66W wireless fast charging, as well as a dual-camera system with a periscope camera. This launch underscores the growing competition in the foldable smartphone market.
The Magic V6 maintains one of the slimmest profiles on the market, measuring 8.75mm thick when closed and just 4mm when unfolded. It is available in black, white, red, and gold.
The phone is now available for pre-order in China and will be available in stores starting March 13th. While already announced for international markets, the availability date for territories outside of China remains unknown.
