Our Opinion

The +

  • This episode, which launches a new storyline, particularly highlights the growing rift between Anaïs and Milan and Jasmine’s distress. Anaïs has been canceling plans repeatedly, and Milan is clearly reaching his breaking point. What’s worse, she doesn’t even seem to realize the damage she’s doing, talking to him about Teyssier’s upcoming return from Singapore (but without a specific date). Her promise that “when Teyssier returns, everything will be better” rings hollow. You almost want to notify her: Milan isn’t going to wait forever.
  • And then there’s Jasmine, who breaks our hearts. Seeing her fall apart like that, admitting she feels incapable, is tough. It’s clear that this selection by Delobel represents everything to her: her career, Naël’s future, a fresh start. Naël could be close to Greg and Eliott, which would change his life. For Jasmine herself, it would be a fantastic professional opportunity. But the pressure is too much, and her confidence is gone. Fortunately, Milan shows unwavering loyalty by blocking out his weekend for her. It’s a beautiful gesture, but you have to wonder: will it only fuel the tension with Anaïs? Is there something more brewing between Jasmine and Milan? There’s a real connection, a deep friendship… could it be something more?
