Acquire ready to suit up! Pixar has officially announced a release window for Incredibles 3, bringing the beloved superhero family back to the big screen.

The studio confirmed during a recent presentation that fans can expect the sequel in 2028, according to reports. This news arrives after the initial announcement of the project in 2024, generating excitement within the animation industry.
Brad Bird, who directed both previous installments, will return to write the script and serve as a producer. Peter Sohn, known for his work on Elements, is set to direct the highly anticipated film. The announcement comes as Pixar assesses the performance of its recent original films and sequels, including the success of Hoppers: Operation Castor.
While plot details remain under wraps, Pixar’s creative director Pete Docter emphasized that the project is still in early development. The original The Incredibles debuted in 2004, followed by Incredibles 2 in 2018, both becoming critical and commercial successes for the studio. The return of the Parr family is sure to be a major event for animation fans worldwide.
