Indonesia surpassed the 80-gold-medal mark at the Thailand-hosted SEA Games 2025, adding eight more golds on Thursday, December 18th.
The eight gold medals came from several of Indonesia’s strongest sports. Triathlon, archery, dragon boat racing, pentathlon, and kabaddi all contributed to the impressive haul.
In triathlon, Eva Desiana, Martina Ayu Pratiwi, and Zahra Bulan Aprillian Putri kicked off the gold rush yesterday. The team then added another gold in the mixed team relay duathlon event.
Archery also proved fruitful, with two more gold medals secured at the SEA Games 2025. Indonesia’s top female archers dominated in both the women’s team compound and women’s individual compound competitions.
