Jakarta-based smartphone consumers are set to receive a significant upgrade to the mobile market with the forthcoming launch of iQOO’s flagship iQOO 15. The device, a sub-brand of Vivo, is scheduled to debut in Indonesia on December 2, 2025, promising cutting-edge performance and innovative features. Notably, the iQOO 15 will be the first smartphone in the country powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it as a premium offering for tech enthusiasts and demanding users.

iQOO has announced its flagship iQOO 15 will launch in Indonesia on December 2, 2025. The device, a sub-brand of Vivo, is poised to deliver cutting-edge performance to the Indonesian market.
The iQOO 15 will be the first smartphone available in Indonesia powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chip achieved an impressive score of 4.38 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark platform, signaling a significant leap in processing power.
Complementing the Snapdragon processor, the iQOO 15 also features iQOO’s own Supercomputing Chip Q3. This combination is designed to provide optimized and consistent performance, particularly for demanding applications like mobile gaming.

iQOO 15 boasts the world’s first M14 LEAD OLED display, utilizing polarizer-less technology for enhanced clarity and improved power efficiency. This innovation aims to provide a more immersive viewing experience while extending battery life.
The display features a 2K resolution and, according to Chinese specifications, measures 6.85 inches with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Chinese version of the iQOO 15 also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits.

The iQOO 15’s design echoes its predecessors, featuring a square rear camera module surrounded by a Monster Halo lighting effect. The camera system has been upgraded with a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom.
This periscope lens works alongside a 50 MP main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. A 32 MP front-facing camera handles selfie duties.
Powering the iQOO 15 is a large 7,000 mAh silicon battery, coupled with an 8K Ultra VC Cooling System featuring an expanded heat dissipation area. The device will also ship with OriginOS 6, following the rollout on the Vivo X300 series.
Full specifications and official pricing for the iQOO 15 in Indonesia will be revealed on December 2, 2025. The iQOO 15 is currently available in China starting at 4,199 yuan, which is approximately $9,500. The Indonesian price point remains to be seen.
