Iran, attacco Usa-Israele: gli obiettivi, i siti colpiti, la risposta di Teheran

The United States and Israel have launched large-scale strikes against Iran, escalating tensions in the region and following through on warnings issued by former President Trump. This action, dubbed “Operation Epic Fury” by the Pentagon, marks the second U.S. Military operation targeting Iran in less than a year, after Washington bombed three Iranian nuclear sites last June.

Obiettivi: nucleare e cambio regime

Donald Trump presented the operation as necessary to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions and as an opportunity for change within the country, explicitly hinting at a potential regime change. “Probably this is your only chance for generations,” he said, urging Iranians to “take control of your government” following the completion of operations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defined Iran as an “existential threat” and stated that the joint operation could “create the conditions for the courageous Iranian people to take their destiny into their own hands.”

Nel mirino siti militari e centri di potere

Explosions were reported in several Iranian cities, including Tehran, Qom, Kermanshah, Isfahan, and Karaj, according to local media.

Images emerging from Tehran showed dense plumes of smoke. Verified videos from the Fresh York Times indicate strikes targeting an area housing the presidential palace and the Supreme National Security Council, as well as an attack near the Intelligence Ministry.

According to several Israeli officials, the initial wave of attacks aimed to strike as many military leaders as possible. The Israeli air force described “a wide wave of attacks” on military targets in western Iran. Sources in both countries anticipate the offensive will continue for several days.

Satellite imagery has revealed damage and smoke rising from the compound of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran, though Iranian authorities claim it remains secure. An area in Narmak, where former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad resides, was also reportedly struck.

La prima risposta iraniana: missili su Israele e Usa

The Revolutionary Guard announced the launch of a barrage of missiles and drones toward Israel. According to Fars, Tehran also targeted U.S. Bases in the region, including Al Udeid (Qatar), Ali Al Salem (Kuwait), Al Dhafra (United Arab Emirates), and the Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain.

Qatar’s Defense Ministry stated it had “successfully intercepted several attacks.” A Hezbollah official in Iraq reported strikes against bases of the Iran-aligned group, with at least three fatalities.

Trump: buona telefonata con Netanyahu, abbiamo diverse vie d’uscita

U.S. President Donald Trump said he had a “good call” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, adding that “we are on the same page.” Speaking to Israel’s Channel 12, Trump explained he has “a number of outs”: to prolong the campaign and “take control of everything,” or to end it in a few days warning Tehran not to rebuild, observing that reconstruction would “take them years.”
