Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is reportedly seeking information on approximately 11,000 U.S. Military personnel stationed in the Middle East as the conflict between the U.S.-Israel and Iran escalates.

The IRGC’s intelligence division has issued a call for Iranian citizens throughout the region to provide details regarding the location of these U.S. Troops.

“The IRGC intelligence organization is calling for information about U.S. Forces throughout the region. The IRGC intelligence agency has called on citizens throughout the region to locate 11,000 U.S. Soldiers staying in hotels and private accommodations,” Al Jazeera reported, citing Tasnim.

According to a report from Al Jazeera on Friday, March 13, 2026, the IRGC claims that U.S. Troops intend to “use our Arab brothers as human shields.”

The IRGC is also urging Iranian citizens not to shelter U.S. Soldiers amid the ongoing conflict, referring to the troops as terrorists.

“We are forced to identify and target Americans. This proves better not to protect them in hotels and stay away from their locations,” the IRGC stated.

“It is your Islamic duty to accurately report the hiding places of American terrorists and send this information to us via Telegram,” the IRGC added.

The situation has become increasingly tense following the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s fresh Supreme Leader, who vowed retaliation for the February 28 attack that killed his father, Ali Khamenei. The escalating conflict has raised concerns about wider regional instability.

That attack also resulted in the deaths of numerous Iranian leaders. A U.S. Strike on the city of Minab reportedly killed more than 170 female elementary school students.

In response to Mojtaba’s statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared his intention to kill the new Supreme Leader of Iran.
