Beirut, March 9, 2026 – Israeli strikes continued to impact Lebanon on Monday evening, resulting in multiple fatalities, injuries, and significant damage.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, seven civilians were killed and two others wounded in an airstrike on Al-Namiriya. Separate strikes on Al-Tiri, accompanied by shelling of the Ali Al-Taher forests, resulted in two deaths. An additional civilian was killed and eight injured in an airstrike on Shoukin. Two Red Cross paramedics were wounded during bombardments targeting Majdal Zoun, and fifteen people sustained injuries in an airstrike on Kawthariyat Al-Ruz.
Further reports from the agency indicated that Israeli artillery fire on Qlaiaa led to the death of a priest and injuries to six civilians. Two civilians were killed and four wounded in airstrikes on Tibnin, while strikes on Beit Leef resulted in two fatalities and eight injuries.
The agency also reported that Israeli forces launched raids on several areas of Lebanon Monday evening, including Mashaa al-Mansouri, the Sinai, Loubieh, Bint Jbeil, Aita al-Jabal and Hadatha. The Hamoul region was targeted with heavy artillery fire.
