In total, approximately 58% of cigarettes have increased in price, while 42% have remained the same. The increases are almost always 0.20 or 0.30 euros per pack. The average increase in 2026 (among the cigarettes that have increased) is around +0.26 euros, and the overall average increase is around +0.18 euros.

Currently, 165 brands have increased in price, while 120 have maintained their existing costs. The majority of these increases are in the range of €0.20 to €0.30 per pack. The average price increase for cigarettes that have been adjusted is approximately €0.26, bringing the overall average increase to around €0.18 per pack. These adjustments, stemming from a recent budget law, are expected to continue, potentially adding up to €0.40 to the cost of a pack of cigarettes by 2028.
