Italy’s Brothers of Italy party saw a slight dip in support, according to a recent poll released Monday, March 9, 2026, while the Democratic Party and the Five Star Movement both gained ground. The survey, conducted by Swg for Tg La7, offers a snapshot of voter intentions should elections be held now.

Brothers of Italy, currently the leading party with a substantial lead, experienced a 0.4% decrease, falling to 29.4%. The Democratic Party, led by Secretary Elly Schlein, rose by 0.2%, reaching 21.8%. The Five Star Movement, under Giuseppe Conte, also saw an increase, gaining 0.3% to reach 12%. This shift in numbers suggests a potential realignment of the Italian political landscape.
