Jakub Szymański is enjoying a stellar season, frequently described as a specialist in indoor competition. This reputation is well-earned, considering his accomplishments – including a gold and silver medal at the European Indoor Championships. He further cemented his status earlier this month by breaking the national record in Berlin, clocking a time of 7.37 seconds.
Polish Athletes Compete in World Indoor Championships Semifinals

The second semifinal saw a false start from experienced Cypriot Milan Trajković, resulting in his disqualification. In the re-run, Trey Cunningham delivered a standout performance, breaking his personal record with a time of 7.35 seconds. Gregory Prince (7.53 s) also secured his place in the final.
Finally, Szymański took to the track and delivered a commanding performance, winning his heat in 7.42 seconds. Enrique Llopis finished second with a time of 7.46 seconds.
