Javiera Rojas Leiva, a 19-year-ancient makeup artist and the sister of Chilean urban music star Pablo Chill-E, is turning heads with her recent entry into the Miss Universo Chile competition. Representing the commune of Maipú, a Santiago suburb where she lives with her brother and mother, Elizabeth, Rojas is hoping to make her mark in the pageant world.
In a conversation with Las Últimas Noticias, Javiera shared that “my family never thought I would enter a beauty pageant, but they are happy and their support is particularly present in my day-to-day life,” adding that she is driven to “inspire other women and grow as a woman. This is an opportunity to transform.”
To prepare for the competition, Rojas has returned to therapy, a practice she previously engaged in. “I went back given that of the competition. I feel it’s very important to be prepared for the comments (from people),” she explained.
“For example, at the (Viña del Mar) Festival, when I presented the Gaviota (award) to my brother, I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I would be, but that was because everyone was really watching my brother; he was the focus. Now it’s the opposite: the comments will be directed at me. Mental health is very important,” the aspiring beauty queen added.
Regarding her relationship with the popular singer, Javiera revealed that “I am very proud of him, our relationship is very beautiful, and our mom has always taught us to be united. His success is my pride, truly.”

“All of his effort is bearing fruit. The most important thing our mom has taught us are values. If she sees us with even a little bit of grandiosity, she brings us down to earth in two seconds,” Rojas concluded. The move highlights the growing intersection of celebrity families and the competitive world of Chilean pageantry.
