Jelgava Jobs: Police, Animal Control, Forester & More

Several positions are open in Jelgava, Latvia, including jobs with the municipal police and environmental services, as the city seeks to fill a range of roles.

The Jelgava Municipal Police is currently accepting applications for a patrol police inspector. Meanwhile, SIA “Zemgales EKO” is hiring an animal catcher and the Jelgava Social Affairs Administration has multiple openings for social workers. The municipal institution “Culture” is seeking a facilities manager, and the Forest Research Station is looking to add a senior forester to its team.

The offered salary for the patrol police inspector position is 1013 euros before taxes, plus a 120 euro allowance for living expenses. The application deadline is April 2. The company will provide training to obtain an animal catcher certificate, as well as work transportation. The offered salary is 800 euros before taxes. The application deadline is May 1. The Forest Research Station, located at Pulkveža Brieža iela 5, is offering a position for a senior forester with a salary ranging from 2000 to 2281 euros. Applications, including a CV, cover letter, and copies of educational documents, must be submitted by March 9 to [email protected] or delivered in person to the Jelgava Information Center at Pulkveža Brieža iela 5, Jelgava, LV-3001.
