Jennifer Lawrence Recounts Robert Pattinson Eating Food From Her Trash
Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence shared a humorous story today about an impromptu visit from her Die, My Love costar, Robert Pattinson, during which he unknowingly ate food she retrieved from her garbage.
Lawrence detailed the incident during a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, explaining that Pattinson called her while she was hosting a pajama party with friends in December. “He was like, ‘Hey, I just wrapped something like a block away from you,’” Lawrence recounted, adding that she invited him over because “Rob is one of the girls. He wants to gossip. He just is one of the gals.”
Upon arrival, Pattinson immediately asked for food, and Lawrence found herself in a predicament – the only available snacks were in the trash. “He goes to the bathroom, and I do have food, but it’s in the trash,” she explained. “And so while he was in the bathroom, I was just, like, pulling food out of my garbage can.” Remarkably, Pattinson continued eating even after learning of the food’s origin, responding with, “Oh, I don’t mind,” and simply retrieving it from the trash to continue his meal. Lawrence has described Pattinson as someone she views with a maternal instinct, noting she doesn’t fully trust he takes care of himself, similar to a daughter. The pair are currently promoting their new thriller, Die, My Love, which is set to release November 7th.
Lawrence’s friends reportedly watched in stunned silence as Pattinson consumed the discarded food, even asking for more. “I was like, ‘Well there is, but it’s in the garbage,’” Lawrence said, recalling the awkward moment. This anecdote has quickly circulated online, highlighting the actors’ playful dynamic and generating buzz ahead of their film’s release. For more on celebrity news, visit The Hollywood Reporter.
