Jennifer Lopez marked a major milestone on February 22nd, celebrating the 18th birthday of her twins, Emme, and Max. The singer and actress shared a touching video montage on Instagram, filled with nostalgia and maternal pride, calling her now-adult children “my lovely coconuts” and “my wondrous twins.”
Born During a Winter Wonderland
In a heartfelt post, the 56-year-aged star reminisced about the night her children were born in February 2008 – during one of the most beautiful snowstorms New York City had seen in years.
“You were born in the middle of the night, in the midst of the biggest and most beautiful snowstorm… Everything was sparkling white as I carried you in my belly for those last moments before you came into the world. It was as if God was making sure you came into a world full of pure magic,” she wrote.
“Two Angels Sent From Heaven”
The video, set to One Direction’s “18,” features a collection of archival footage – from Emme and Max’s earliest days as babies to behind-the-scenes moments and family celebrations. The montage captures tender kisses, smiles, and precious memories from their journey together. This public display of affection comes as Lopez continues to navigate life in the spotlight.
“I can’t believe you’re 18… 18 years old. You are so kind, generous and loving,” Lopez shared.
“Always Us Three”
In the video’s caption, Jennifer Lopez emphasized that her love couldn’t be contained in just the words “I love you.”
“Always us three. Together we are in this journey. We’ve always had each other – especially in the snowstorms. And I promise you, my beautiful coconuts, no matter how old you get, it will always be that way.”
