Kamanių Šilelis celebrated fifteen years on the Lithuanian music scene with the “Ritualai” concert on March 15, 2026, at the Twinsbet Arena in Vilnius. The group delivered a performance set against a stage covered in sand.
The concert’s concept – celebrating music as a ritual and experiencing one’s true self through it – was entrusted to director Pijus Vėberis. According to a press statement, significant attention was given to uniting world cultures and journeying through time via music and its evoked emotions.
“We were offered many compromises, but we chose the most difficult path: more than 40 people singing live on stage, a robotized stage camera – unused in Lithuania until now – broadcasting images on a huge screen, and real sand under our feet. All of this helped to create a memorable evening,” said members of Kamanių Šilelis.
Dancers Lukas Lipnickas and Aretas Piaseckas also took to the stage. The audience of over a thousand was also surprised by special guests including Jessica Shy, leader of the group Katarsis Lukas Radzevičius, and singer Daiva Belevičienė.
