Jets Announce 2026 Season Ticket Price Increases, Fans React

The New York Jets are increasing season ticket prices for the 2026 season, a move that has drawn criticism from some fans amid the team’s current 1-7 record.

A team spokesperson explained yesterday that the price adjustments are partially due to the addition of a ninth home game in 2026, as the Jets played one “home” game in London this season against the Denver Broncos, for which fans were not charged unless they purchased tickets specifically for that international contest. The overall increase across MetLife Stadium averages 3.5 percent. This change comes as the team struggles to gain momentum in the current NFL season, potentially impacting fan loyalty and attendance.

According to the spokesperson, prices for upper-deck and lower end zone seating – considered the most affordable options – will not increase. “56 percent of the building went up between about $5 and $10 per seat per game,” the spokesperson said. Premium seating areas, such as the Coaches Club, will see a more significant increase, reflecting the inclusion of both food and alcohol in the ticket price. You can find more information about Jets ticket options on the team’s official website.

The team maintains that sending out ticket renewal notices at this time of year is standard procedure, allowing fans to begin making payment arrangements. “The first thing people have to look at is last year they didn’t pay for a full season of home games because of the London game, so the [2025] ticket prices were reduced by one game,” the spokesperson added. “That game comes back to us next year because we have nine home games.” For context on NFL ticket pricing trends, see Team Marketing Report.

The Jets indicated they will continue to work with season ticket holders regarding payment plans and address any concerns as they arise.
