From March 13 to 15, 2026, the Pl’asso Jeux association will welcome enthusiasts and newcomers alike to the Épinal Centre des Congrès for the 14th edition of the Jeux et Cie festival. Three days of entertainment, discovery, and tournaments await, with free admission.

After attracting over 15,000 visitors in 2025, the Jeux et Cie festival is set to return to the Épinal Centre des Congrès for a weekend dedicated to gaming in all its forms. Organized by the Pl’asso Jeux association, the event has become one of the major gaming highlights in the Grand Est region. The festival’s growing popularity reflects the continued rise of board games as a mainstream entertainment option.

In 2026, more than 6,500 square meters of space will be dedicated to games, with over 500 tables available for open play and the participation of more than 150 partners – including clubs, associations, game libraries, authors, illustrators, publishers, specialist shops, and artisans. The goal remains the same: to introduce as many people as possible to the diversity of board games, from classic favorites to the latest releases, for children and experienced players alike.

The festival will be structured around eight main thematic areas: board games, collectible card games, role-playing games, miniature games, classic games, world games and antique games, dexterity games, and a children’s area. Demonstrations, workshops, and tournaments will fill the weekend, with a particular focus on supporting both newcomers and seasoned players.

Highlights of the 14th edition include the return of the Game Jam, a game creation challenge running from Friday at 5 p.m. To Saturday at 3 a.m., a stronger presence of authors and illustrators – including those from Switzerland, Belgium, and Germany – and an expansion of the spaces dedicated to “expert” games, role-playing games, and miniatures. Accessibility will also be enhanced, with initiatives aimed at people with disabilities.

The festival will kick off on Friday, March 13, with activities reserved for schools and groups in the afternoon, followed by an open gaming evening for all from 8 p.m. To 3 a.m. On Saturday, March 14, public events will run from 10 a.m. To 7-8 p.m., followed by another evening event. On Sunday, March 15, the public can enjoy the game spaces and tournaments from 10 a.m. To 6 p.m.

Born from partnerships around Imaginales and strengthened by thirteen editions between 2012 and 2025, Jeux et Cie prides itself on being a friendly and intergenerational event. The event aims to promote the local gaming community whereas expanding its reach. Admission is free, with a bar and catering available on site.
