A new power couple has emerged in the Korean entertainment scene as actress Ji Ye-eun and renowned dancer Batta have officially confirmed their relationship.

On April 13, 2026, Ji Ye-eun’s agency, CP Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating, “The two, who had been colleagues, are now meeting with good feelings for one another.” Batta’s agency, A-Ra, echoed the sentiment, adding, “The two are continuing a good relationship with hearts that care for each other.”

The couple, both born in 1994, reportedly transitioned from being industry colleagues and “church friends” to romantic partners, having bonded over shared interests and their faith. This relationship marks a sweet intersection of acting and dance, blending two distinct worlds of performance.

Batta’s support for Ji Ye-eun has already been evident in her professional endeavors. When Ji Ye-eun performed at ‘Waterbomb Seoul 2025’ last year as part of the project group ‘Chungju GC’ with Ji Suk-jin, Batta provided “support fire” by creating the choreography for their new song, “Milkshake.”

Ji Ye-eun has carved out a significant niche for herself in both acting and variety television. A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, she debuted in 2017 with the web drama ‘How To’. She later skyrocketed to fame as a cast member of the ‘SNL Korea’ series and has since become a mainstay on SBS’s ‘Running Man,’ where she is recognized as a rising star in the variety circuit.

Batta is equally distinguished in his field as the leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz. He first gained widespread recognition after securing the runner-up spot on Mnet’s ‘Street Man Fighter’ in 2022. A powerhouse in the K-pop industry, Batta is the creative mind behind Zico’s viral “Ssaebbing” choreography and has worked with top-tier acts including Seventeen, Cravity, and SuperM. More recently, he garnered significant attention for choreographing BLACKPINK Jennie’s hit “Like Jennie.”

The confirmation of this relationship adds a touch of romance to the industry, as two versatile artists from different disciplines find common ground in their personal lives.
