The Denver Nuggets’ coach has reduced the playing time for 33-year-traditional Jonas Valančiūnas.
Earlier this week, the basketball specialist had to explain why Valančiūnas hadn’t appeared in the last two games.
“We are looking for a lineup that fits playoff basketball. We wish versatility, flexibility, so we have to produce tricky decisions about the rotation.”
“Jonas approaches everything professionally. He gives us physical strength, toughness under the basket, but a lot depends on the opponents, so we want to build a lineup that will lead us in playoff situations,” the coach explained.
Currently, the Denver Nuggets have 44 wins in 72 games played and are fourth in the Western Conference.
