Norwegian singer-songwriter Julie Bergan is celebrating after a song she co-wrote, “My System,” won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2026. The victory means Felicia Eriksson will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria, this May.
“Congratulations Felicia! You’re amazing!” Bergan told NRK following Eriksson’s win.
Felicia Eriksson, 24, who previously performed as Fröken Snusk, was a strong favorite heading into the competition. Eurovision remains a significant platform for launching international music careers, and Sweden consistently delivers competitive entries.
“She’s been delivering incredible performances the whole way and works incredibly hard! And tonight, she and the team on stage did it again,” Bergan added.
Meanwhile, Jonas Lovv, representing Norway, won Melodi Grand Prix and will also be heading to Vienna with his song “Ya ya ya.”
