The Lithuanian Court of Appeal will now review a case involving a substantial financial claim against the singer and her mother. The initial February ruling by the Vilnius Regional Court found that Arlauskaitė did not owe the businesswoman any money. However, the court did order her mother, Auksė Arlauskienė, to pay 279,594 euros, including debt, default interest, and accrued interest, plus an additional 8,135 euros for legal costs. According to a statement from Vilnius Regional Court spokesperson Lina Nemeikaitė, “The plaintiff filed an appeal requesting that the court change the decision to fully satisfy the plaintiff’s claim.” The businesswoman is now seeking a full reversal of the previous judgment.
