Kacper Tomasiak has emerged as an unexpected leader for the Polish national ski jumping team this season. The 19-year-old captured the hearts of fans during the Winter Olympics. He secured three medals on the hills of Predazzo – silver in both the individual normal hill and large hill super team events, and a bronze in the individual large hill competition.
Prior to the 2025/26 season, Tomasiak’s primary goal was a medal at the Junior World Championships. There was speculation about whether he would be selected for the competition in Lillehammer. Although, during the Olympics, head coach Maciej Maciusiak confirmed that the 19-year-old would travel to Norway to compete for a medal in his age group.
