A meteorologist has addressed recent speculation regarding upcoming weather phenomena in the Middle East.
Khaled Al-Zuaq explained, “This talk is not based on any scientific basis or scientific foundations. We are now in the season of ‘saraayat,’ which are summer rains, and summer rains are usually preceded by a dusty windstorm.”
He added, “Sometimes there is hail, and This represents normal and happens every year, like what happened in Kuwait and the Riyadh exhibitions, breaking facades.”
Al-Zuaq continued, “There are exaggerations that reach the point of excess, and you should follow the meteorology in your countries.” The comments come as residents in the region closely monitor weather patterns, particularly after recent unusual weather events.
