The Rytíři Kladno currently sit in 12th place in the Tipsport Extraliga standings with 61 points as the league returns from the international break. A win against Mladá Boleslav in Tuesday’s matchup would notice the latter leapfrog Kladno into 11th, with 61 points of their own.

In their last regular season game, Kladno hosted Plzeň, securing a 4:1 win. Tomáš Tomek and Griffin Mendel both found the back of the net in the first period, giving their team an early advantage. Phil Pietroniro extended the lead to 3-0 before Plzeň responded, but Tristen Robins sealed the victory with a late goal.
