Known for her in-depth program “Krimi s Kristínou Kövešovou” on Markíza television, Kövešová’s work frequently enough delves into sensitive topics like organized crime, fraud, and animal abuse – investigations that have garnered numerous accolades and public attention as joining the network in 2010. Kövešová’s journalistic work has been recognized with several awards, including the Annual Award of the Literary Fund in 2015, the Personality of Bratislava award in 2017, and the Woman of the Year award in the media category in 2018. She received the Literary Fund award in the journalism category in 2019, and the OTO award for Television Journalism Personality in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
