Polish food reviewer Książulo, known for his candid takes on everything from street food to fine dining, recently took his culinary criticism to New York City with predictably dramatic results. The popular YouTuber documented a visit to a Manhattan restaurant offering a $7,000 pizza-topped with 24-karat gold and caviar-in a now-viral review. Książulo’s experience, complete with a signed contract and passport photo requirement, highlights the lengths some restaurants will go to for exclusivity, and whether the price tag truly equates to palatable perfection.

One of Poland’s most popular YouTubers, known as Książulo, has built a following by reviewing everything from street food to high-end dining. He first gained attention through taste tests of kebabs and fast food, but his channel has since expanded to include more upscale restaurants, captivating viewers with his honest opinions and relatable style.

Książulo frequently travels across Poland, visiting various eateries. Recently, he took his culinary adventures stateside, and couldn’t resist trying some uniquely American fare – including a $2,000 pizza.

Książulo Dishes on a $7,000 Pizza

Książulo documented his visit to a New York City restaurant known for its extravagant prices on Instagram. He shelled out 3,600 zł (approximately $850 USD) for an ice cream dessert, 300 zł (around $70 USD) for a milkshake, but the real showstopper was a pizza covered in 24-karat gold, costing over 7,000 zł (roughly $1,650 USD).

“This is the most expensive pizza in the world,” Książulo shared. “It costs around 7000 zł, over 2000 dollars and I feel like an idiot for buying it. I had to call, I had to write an email. They sent me an agreement that I had to sign to eat this pizza. I had to send them a photo of my passport, it’s weird. I had to give them my card details. I did everything.”

The pizza was built on a dark crust and topped with ingredients like blue cheese, edible gold, liver pâté, and caviar.

“Over 7000 zł. That’s a lot of money and I think I’m doing wrong even buying something like this and spending money on something like this,” he admitted. “I’m doing it for content, simply. No one in Poland has filmed this yet, I think. I’m bringing foie gras, and I’m anti-foie gras. The cheese on this pizza, from what we’ve seen, is some kind of blue cheese, but there’s also some strange cheese from England.”

Unfortunately, the extravagant price tag didn’t translate to a great taste. Książulo found the pizza was overwhelmingly dominated by the blue cheese, and the crust itself was disappointing.

“You know what you can only taste, at least as far as I’m concerned? Even though there’s so much caviar here, I don’t feel the taste of fish at all. Everything was dominated by that blue cheese. It feels like I’m just biting into a gorgonzola and I don’t feel the taste of caviar at all. I’ll say this, I’m already on the second bite with caviar, now I feel the caviar, I feel the fishy taste, I feel a very salty taste. Well, that’s it. 7200 went. The dough? I don’t know if it’s because they added this ink to it – it’s so dry, it’s just hard to chew for a long time. It’s not the best dough I’ve ever had in a pizza, and this pizza costs 7000 zł.”

To add insult to injury, Książulo discovered a hair on the pizza.

“For two thousand dollars? Look at us, three waiters and the pizzaman are looking at us. See this hair? A long, black hair. Bartek hasn’t grown his hair out yet, so it’s probably not his,” he joked.
