La Rosa Náutica first opened its doors in 1983, the vision of Carlín Semsch, a sea enthusiast who dreamed of a restaurant built directly over the Pacific Ocean. The construction took place on Pier 4 of the Miraflores beach circuit, a bold project in an area then considered remote and underdeveloped. Semsch collaborated with architects and specialists to create the restaurant’s unique style – a blend of tradition, elegance, and the sound of the ocean as an integral part of the dining experience.

Over time, ownership of the property transferred to the Puga family. Throughout its history, the restaurant has continually evolved to remain relevant, adapting its menu and services to novel trends while maintaining its classic oceanfront identity.

La Rosa Náutica has received both local and international recognition over the decades and has been recognized as a classic Lima restaurant, even earning accolades in culinary awards. Since 2023, renowned chef has taken the helm of the historic restaurant’s kitchen, introducing a refreshed menu. The change underscores the restaurant’s commitment to culinary excellence.

Adding to the dining experience, the restaurant now features , a bar space where Schiaffino and Enomoto Masaki offer a marine-inspired concept rooted in Japanese techniques.

La Rosa Náutica offers separate lunch and dinner menus. Appetizers range in price from S/52 to S/98, including options like the Eden Blue salad and the Sea Shrimp.

Ceviche, one of the most popular dishes, is priced between approximately S/62 and S/79 per serving. Parmesan Scallops, another classic, cost S/98. A seafood platter can range from S/124 to S/168 for those looking to share a variety of flavors.

In addition to seafood, the menu includes main courses ranging from S/79 to S/220, with options such as spaghetti with shellfish, the catch of the day, or salt-baked Arapa trout.

Beverages include signature cocktails starting at S/40, mocktails from S/19, and Peruvian cocktails from S/34. The dessert menu features panna cotta, tiramisu, or sorbets, as well as Peruvian specialties like suspiro a la limeña, priced between S/29 and S/43.

To secure a reservation at La Rosa Náutica, especially on special occasions or weekends, advance booking is recommended. The restaurant offers various settings with ocean views, from indoor lounges to outdoor spaces at El Muelle de La Rosa.
