A confrontation between two drivers in Langhus, Norway, late Friday night escalated into a physical altercation involving a knife and pepper spray, prompting a significant police response.
Police responded to reports of a dispute between two drivers in Langhus on Friday evening, discovering that both a knife had been displayed and pepper spray used during the altercation.
“We now have control of both parties,” said operations leader Rune Isaken of the Eastern Police District.
One of the drivers required medical attention after being sprayed with pepper spray. No other injuries were reported.
Both the knife and the pepper spray have been confiscated by authorities.
The individuals involved are both men in their 20s, with one residing in Follo and the other from Buskerud.
The cause of the serious confrontation between the two drivers remains under investigation, police said.
A case has been opened, and police have concluded their on-scene investigation, the operations leader stated at 11:52 PM.
