Meteorite impacts are rare events. In Germany, multiple fragments of a meteorite fell in Elmshorn in April 2023. The largest fragment weighed approximately 3.7 kilograms and was subsequently examined by scientists and set on display. At the time, it was considered the largest meteorite fragment found in Germany in roughly 100 years.
