Most of the country will see temperatures drop to between 13 and 18 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. Coastal regions will be slightly milder, ranging from 9 to 12 degrees below zero, the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre reports. However, eastern parts of Latvia could experience temperatures plummeting to as low as 20 degrees below zero as skies clear.
Riga will also remain dry with partly cloudy skies. Light winds are expected, and temperatures will fall to between 13 and 15 degrees below zero.
Monday will bring frequent sunny spells and continued dry conditions. Light winds will persist, and the mercury will not rise above 5 to 10 degrees below zero.
