Daytime highs will generally range from -4 to -9 degrees Celsius (25 to 16 degrees Fahrenheit), with slightly colder temperatures persisting in eastern regions.
Looking ahead, the forecast indicates little precipitation next week, with temperatures remaining below freezing. According to data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, the final two weeks of January are currently projected to be 6-9 degrees Celsius (11-16 degrees Fahrenheit) colder than average for Latvia.
