Latvian athletes are set to compete in cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, and biathlon events today, February 18, 2026. The Winter Olympics are underway, and Latvian competitors are aiming for strong performances across multiple disciplines.
10:45 AM will see qualification rounds for the team sprint in cross-country skiing for both women and men. Representing Latvia will be the teams of Patrīcija Eiduka and Kitija Auziņa, as well as Raimo Vīgants and Lauris Kaparkalējs.
11:00 AM features the first run of the women’s slalom in alpine skiing, with Dženifera Ģērmane and Liene Bondare scheduled to compete.
2:30 PM will host the second run of the women’s slalom in alpine skiing.
3:45 PM is the start time for the women’s 4×6 kilometer relay in biathlon. The Latvian team will consist of Baiba Bendika, Estere Volfa, Annija Keita Sabule, and Sanita Buliņa.
