Abele saw action in six games this season for Leeton Christian Academy, with a high of eight points in a single contest. The Latvian-represented school finished the season ranked 39th among all high schools in the United States.
Upon returning to Latvia, he participated in one LJBL tournament game, where he scored 15 points in 21 minutes of play. The young player demonstrated consistent performance in the LJBL last season as well, averaging 13.7 points in 12 games while starting in the majority of contests for “RBS Basketball Class.”
Abele also gained experience in adult basketball last season, playing for the National Basketball League team “RBS Riga Juniors,” where he averaged 5.9 points in 14 games.
Abele has also gained international experience with Latvian youth national teams, including representing his country at the 2023 European U16 Championship.
