Though the Winter Olympics have concluded, the biathlon season continues with three remaining stages, the first of which will begin in Finland with a women’s sprint competition. Latvia will be represented in the 15km distance by three athletes – Baiba Bendika, Sanita Buliņa, and Annija Sabule.
Bendika will start the race with the seventh bib number, Buliņa has been assigned number 45, and Sabule will begin with bib 72 in a field of 96 competitors.
