Laura Prieto revealed she is no longer friends with Yamila Reyna, during a discussion on the comedian’s recent return to the stage on the program Hay que decirlo.
Reyna recently resumed her stand-up performances at the Palermo Teatro Bar in Providencia, where audiences enthusiastically greeted her with cheers and displays of affection.
During the Canal 13 program, the panel analyzed Reyna’s routine, and Prieto stated that, in her opinion, “she felt that Yamila wasn’t having a good time.”
When asked if they were still friends, Prieto responded clearly, “We used to be friends, now we aren’t.”
“What happened?” asked Willy Sabor.
“What happened? I think people forget about people in bad times,” Prieto declared, declining to elaborate further.
A Trip Together
The two previously took a trip together to Brazil in 2023, documenting their experiences on social media.
Claudio Iturra and his agency, Masai Travel, initially invited Reyna, who then extended the invitation to Prieto.
“They told me ‘choose a friend’ and I thought of Laura, I’ve known her for a long time, we gain along really well, she’s super fun so I thought it would be a good break from the routine,” Prieto told La Cuarta at the time.
The news comes as Reyna enjoys a successful return to live performance, a significant moment for the Argentinian comedian. The dynamic between celebrities and the shifting nature of friendships often captivates audiences, and this situation is no exception.
