Rimantė Jonušaitė, recognized as Lithuania’s top female footballer, led the team with four goals. Ugnė Lazdauskaitė contributed a goal directly from a corner kick in the first half, and Skaistė Petrauskaitė added another goal in added time.
This win sets the stage for Lithuania’s next home game on March 7th, where they will face the Estonian national team at the Raudondvario Stadium. The team’s performance is part of a larger European zone qualification process, structured similarly to the Nations League format.

The six winning teams from League C, along with the two best runners-up, will progress to the next stage. There, they will compete against eight teams finishing second or third in the four groups of League A. This tiered system aims to create competitive matches and identify the strongest teams.
