The event producer, Lotus, confirmed three medical consultations for minor injuries, without specifying the cause.

Fans attending Sabrina Carpenter’s Lollapalooza Chile 2026 performance reported experiencing mild burns and irritation after what appeared to be debris from fireworks fell on the crowd.

A fan shared a TikTok video showing her prime location near the stage, but also asking, “¿Alguien sabe qué era lo que caía de los fuegos artificiales que dolía y picaba tanto?” (“Does anyone know what was falling from the fireworks that hurt and itched so much?”).

The post quickly garnered responses from other concertgoers who experienced similar issues.

“I was blind for like two minutes”; “Let’s file a complaint, it was horrible, and it happened three times”; “I thought I was the only one”; “In my section we also started to feel it!! It was terrible! My eyes hurt a lot”; “I felt something in my eye that really hurt and it was after that,” were some of the comments received by the user.

Following the reports, BioBioChile contacted Lotus, the event producer, who stated: “We received 3 medical consultations, they were treated, category mild, and those cases will be followed up according to the work protocol we have for our events.”

However, Lotus did not detail the origin of the injuries, though many fans believe they were caused by fireworks set off at the end of the concert on the Cenco Malls stage.
